“ I haven't written a review in over a year but wanted to quickly write about what a great birthday celebration we had here with my mom over the weekend. We had planned on having lunch in SF but last minute decided to do it in the East Bay. I spent all night looking at restaurants and booked reservations here and I'm so glad we did! Service here is great! We had the friendliest and most attentive server. We had drinks and complimentary beignets on our table that my mom loved so much we ended up getting a second plate of them! We ordered the oysters rockefeller, crab and avocado salad, southern soft shell crab breakfast, linguine and clams, and the cioppino. I rarely get cioppino because its often not that good but I kept fighting my husband for more bites of his! I think its one of the best I've ever had and its served with the best garlic bread ever which we ordered seconds of. Every single dish was delicious. Highly recommend reservations so you can get a seat by the water. We saw there was a free ferry right across from the restaurant so we hopped on it after to go to Alameda and it was so fun! Also loved the live music they had on the piano. I saw a bunch of people dancing to it! They're having their 50th anniversary right now for the next few months and it looks like they have a bunch of specials. Already can't wait to come back! Thank you again for such a wonderful birthday celebration for my mom! ”

“ Old school restaurant. I loved the vibe and the piano player. I had a glass of wine and the wedge salad- very satisfying- I was eating alone, so it wasn't a big meal. The dessert was good too, although a little rich - bread pudding- I ate most of it anyway. Nice view and friendly staff that made me feel welcome; even when eating alone. ”

“ My dinner companion and I had a wonder lunch at Scott's. It was her recommendation to go and since I'm not from the area, I didn't know what to expect. I arrived early and enjoyed the beautiful surrounding scenery. Pics shared. The menu had a lot of selections that I was interested in trying but I settled on a couple of things (1) the crab and avocado salad and (2) the crab stuffed salmon. Both were pretty to look at and were both deliciously satisfying. My companion enjoyed her Blackened Catfish as well. The service was also great. I would definitely return and highly recommend this place for dining if you enjoy fresh and creative seafood dishes. ”

“ The food at Scott's was amazing and so fresh. Starting with the Spanish octopus for the appetizer, it was SO flavorful. The octopus is braised for a few days then grilled and fried giving it the best texture on the outside while keeping it moist and chewy in the inside. The sauce is incredible too. The entrees I ordered were linguini and clams and the lobster stuff ravioli with lobster sauce. Both were excellent and had ample amount of fresh clams/lobster for each bite. Even the complimentary sourdough bread served at the beginning of the meal was so so good. I went mid-week around 3pm and sat outside with no one else around. It was perfect! Highly recommend this place if you enjoy seafood. ”

My husband and I love salmon and order it often, but this was the best we've had recently. Spicy Cactus-- I ordered it because the name sounded interesting. It was spicy and tasty! *Service* We visited here on my birthday, and the service was wonderful, with surprises like a rose flower, photo shooting, and ice cream served after the meal. *Ambiance* The view from the restaurant was nice and we could see the San Francisco buildings! ”
